Polycrystalline Solar Module - Titanium Series

 

Polycrystalline modules are made using cast blocks of silicon containing many small crystals. Polycrystalline cells are cheaper to produce and are slightly less efficient and are ideal for larger scale installations.

Polycrystalline (sometimes referred to as multicrystalline) are assembled like monocrystalline modules, only multi-faceted. By interconnecting multiple silicon cells by tapping and stringing the cells into an electrical configuration. These interconnected cells are then set out, laminated in a vacuum then cured by heating and then framed in light-weight aluminum (also available in black). Once sealed they become weatherproofed to extremely high levels of ultraviolet radiation and moisture.
